Our rapid rise has been fuelled by strong partnerships, successful marketing strategies, and an ever-growing fan base. In this post, we take a closer look at the numbers behind our growth and what’s next for Battle League Pro-Am as we continue to expand.
One of the standout metrics of our success is our massive increase in media presence. In 2023, Battle League Basketball garnered 600,000 media impressions. Just one year later, that number surged to an impressive 22.6 million. This growth was driven by an influencer-focused marketing campaign, which included high-profile collaborations with basketball content creators boasting millions of followers across platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.
Our media content—ranging from highlight reels to behind-the-scenes footage—has captivated basketball fans not only in Canada but also on a global scale. With millions of views, Battle League Pro-Am has solidified its place as a must-watch league in the sports entertainment industry.
Our marquee event in Edmonton showcased the growing interest in Canadian basketball, attracting over 1,863 attendees to experience NBA talent like Lou Williams and basketball celebrity D’Vontay Friga. While we didn’t sell out the event, the turnout demonstrated the strong demand for high-quality, star-powered basketball experiences in the Canadian market.
With more events planned and expansion into cities like Vancouver and Toronto on the horizon, we expect our attendance numbers to continue growing. Our ability to consistently draw sizable crowds is a testament to the excitement Battle League Pro-Am is generating across the country.
Looking ahead, we’re excited to build on our current success by expanding into new markets and further increasing fan engagement. In 2025, Battle League Basketball will enter Vancouver and Toronto, bringing our unique mix of NBA-level competition and Canadian talent to two of the country’s largest basketball hubs.
